Director of the Experimental Centre of the School of Architecture and Planning at Shenyang Jianzhu University, deputy director of the Liaoning Key Laboratory of Building Ecophysics Technology and Evaluation, and head of the Liaoning Research Centre for Academic Exchange and Innovation in Smart Habitat and Healthy Cities for Postgraduates. She holds a doctorate in building technology from Harbin Institute of Technology and studied under Professor Jian Kang (FREng), a foreign academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. She is a outstanding teaching professor of Liaoning Province, an outstanding master’s thesis supervisor in Liaoning Province, and is in charge of the first-class course ‘Building Physics’ in Liaoning Province. She is also a member of the Architectural Acoustics Committee of the Chinese Acoustical Society, a member of the Environmental Behaviour Committee of the Chinese Architectural Society, a member of the Healthy Building Label Evaluation Expert Committee, and a member of the editorial board of academic journals such as PLoS ONE and Discover Cities.

Specialising in computer-aided architectural/urban design, with a focus on the application of deep learning algorithms in generative design, performance prediction and performance optimisation. Collaborative research areas are real-time prediction and design optimisation of the urban acoustic environment based on artificial intelligence.
